Seeking an associate attorney primarily for a non-litigation position handling family law cases. Experience is not required. Law students seeking bar admission to North Carolina may apply now. Law students would be hired after the bar exam and offered a full time associate position contingent upon passing the North Carolina bar exam. The applicant must have very strong writing skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to learn the law quickly. Duties will include drafting lawsuits, drafting equitable distribution affidavits, compiling trial notebooks, supporting the litigation attorneys, answering and propounding discovery, researching caselaw, and writing motions. The associate attorney will have the opportunity to be mentored by seasoned family law litigators. Family law experience is a plus, but not required. Please send a resume and a cover letter.
