- The Database Analyst will maintain data storage; database administration; and gather, organize, and interpret statistical information based on the data in multiple databases.
- Oversees database maintenance and modification efforts.
- Knowledge of Database backups, Data scrambling, staging and loading across various data store platforms.
- Install, patch, maintain and monitor databases.
- Ability to work on environments where applications connect different types of RDBMS and file systems.
- Storage management and Capacity Planning.
- Maintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices.
- Develops and maintains documentation and standards.
- Design and evaluate an efficient backup recovery process for various databases.
- Prepare reports for various databases.
- Identify and resolve all problems and ensure appropriate tracking of issues on same.
- Analyze all database statistics and recommend changes if required.
- Monitor all internal and external data feeds for systems.
- Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, upper management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient and experience in Database Administration of multiple Databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of computer languages used within databases.
- Understanding of database design and construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
- 3+ years in Database Administration and Database management.
