This opportunity is for an Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Technical Lead in Finance Systems to be part a multiyear Data Analytics Program within Finance IT department in the Global Investment and Finance Systems (GIFS) subdivision of IT. GIFS is an exciting subdivision that embraces New Ways of Working, continue to modernize our technology, and puts a premium on developing our talent. The Finance Strategic Analytics program enables advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities for Vanguard's Finance Division business leaders and analyst communities in Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Tax, Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM), Internal Audit, Global Workspace Experience (GWx), and more. The Finance business leverages data analytics sights in their daily operations and continue to invest in the program as we move the analytics maturity dial towards predictive and prescriptive analytics
In this role, you will:- Provide technical leadership and contribute further to evolve the team actively embracing new ways of working and continuous delivery
- Create more responsive approaches to building software, including development, design, implementation, and maintenance
- Provide expert IT technical lead services, for solutioning and maintenance of end-to-end analytics environment(s) Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). This includes big data engineering, data curation, advanced analytics, visualization, and adoption of new tools/technology
- Bring solutions to life by operationalizing models and partner with the business clients to deliver analytics insights
- Stay up to date on development methodology, architecture design and technical standards, and translate it into effective business and client solutions through research and by partnering with divisional and CTO architects
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, ITS, Data Science or equivalent training and experience.
- Passion for the Data analytics and Data Science to solve problems
- Proficient in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) & OML, Data visualization, Oracle Cloud Services (OCS), other Oracle Business Intelligence Technologies and applications like BICC, OTBI, Oracle BI Appliances etc. and Oracle Integration Cloud(OIC)
- Expert level of experience building, deploying and scaling end to end analytics solutions in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW); including data ingestion, transformation, curation and visualization
- Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Python, Scala, Spark, and other ML and analytics languages and visualization tools a plus
