THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

Principal Expectations:
  • Engineer and support vulnerability management tools and capabilities
  • Work alongside multiple teams to configure security tools and meet the needs of the business
  • Ensure that the enterprise's systems are secure from threats such as malware and external threat actors
  • Troubleshoot network issues related to blocked traffic in the enterprise network
  • Identify security risks and work with IPRM team to report and lead remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with other developers to provide technical direction and work together to solve business problems

Mandatory Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience within Cyber Security and a familiarity with vulnerability scanning tool administration (i.e. Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable)
  • Knowledge of current cyber security threats, techniques, and landscapes, as well as a desire to stay up to date in these topics and continue learning more about the cyber realm
  • Experience with container security and vulnerability management
  • Experience in standard web services/APIs (e.g. RESTful, SOAP) and configuring, deploying, and operating cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Strong work ethic and drive with an enthusiasm for owning your work and driving development
  • Desire to work within a diverse group of people and passion for challenging the status quo
