The Rug Department Salesperson will include helping customers with selection of merchandise, tracking and reporting sales, scheduling helpers to support sales, reporting work hours and submitting timesheets. An essential function of this position is the ability to lift and move merchandise and replenishment of merchandise.
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements:
Unloads merchandise from truck (on pallets) for rug department
Will unroll and set up rug stacks as directed by manager
Responsible for cleanliness of interior and exterior of Rug Department as well as the showroom area
Responsible for executing all safety protocols related to the Rug Department
Moves inventory including rugs on the showroom to support sales personnel in presentation to customers
Carries merchandise to and from Customer’s vehicles as needed
Helps ensure Rug Department is organized and clean.

Required Skills:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Excellent communication skills
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
MOST IMPORTANT: Must be dependable, ability to work weekends and up to 9:00 pm at night; and able to come to work on a consistent basis. Great opportunity for making money.
