The Application Software Engineer (New Technologies) has the exciting opportunity to be a part of a new Business Automation and Enablement team doing application development on Encounters Systems. As a Application Software Engineer (New Technologies) you will:- Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs
- Develop applications that automate tasks for business partners and IT Operations
- Contribute to the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications
- Meet with business partners to understand business needs
- Contribute to overall solution design
- Responsible for build and test of applications
- Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning
- Have the opportunity to work with new, cutting edge technology like Golang, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Kafka and Event-driven.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of related experience
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong application development skills utilizing C#, Java or similar languages.
- Experience using frameworks such Spring Boot, .NET or React.
- Strong database skills utilizing Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with Health Care applications development and design is preferred.
- Experience and/or strong knowledge in the following: Golang, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Kafka and Event-driven.
