Job Description:

Bank of America is looking for a Quality Specialist II who will be responsible for the planning and execution of functional QA testing services. Should be a key individual contributor to Quality Assurance (QA) teams as well as the voice of Quality for the project teams that he/she is supporting. Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed and is constantly evaluating audit readiness and compliance with Enterprise Testing Standards. Effectively coordinates the work with a global team. Should be able to do multitasking, flexible to change the strategy and prioritize tasks. Identifies risks and outlines mitigation plan. Implements lessons learnt/best practices and looks to improve quality of the releases. As an individual contributor you will be expected to gain SME knowledge around the domain and applications you support. You will need to effectively partner with your scrum team and help drive quality of final product.

Requirements:
  • 5 to 7 Years of total experience in test planning and execution
  • Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
  • Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
  • Experience with test automation tool set - Selenium/QTP/Tosca
  • Strong background in both Agile/Waterfall Methodologies
  • Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
  • Strong SQL scripting / ETL testing skills, Web application testing experience
  • Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with Global model
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, Communicates Effectively, builds relationships, Influences others
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
  • Agile tools (Jira/Rally)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration model

Enterprise Role Summary:

Works with project teams to ensure overall software quality is monitored and maintained and/or validates system QA standards necessary to execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications/systems. Has some interaction with business area execs, vendors and operations execs in determining whether systems and system components, including hardware, networks, system software, tools, and applications are appropriate and/or ready for implementation. Fosters stable support framework for development teams and business units in the area of quality control and the development of new or revised applications. May provide guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts. Analyzes, designs, documents new or modified QA procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered applications and information systems. Provide resolution to an assortment of problems complex in scope, related to Quality Assurance projects. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
