Scrum Master/Agile Coach
Location: Northern Charlotte, NC (4 days onsite, 1 WFH)Duration: 6 Month, Contract to Hire (potential to convert sooner)Pay Rate: Negotiable - W2 ONLY!Salary: Negotiable +Performance Bonus JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is looking for an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach who will be responsible for driving tech delivery and overall solutions that support business priorities and objectives. Ensure the optimization and the flow of stories, bugs, epics, deliverables, etc., and the value delivered by multiple teams. The Scrum Master facilitates the Agile methodology and activities, manages, leads, and directs the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team. Well versed in project delivery for technology projects and can act as an Agile Coach. Expected to also be an individual contributor to one or more teams. This role will need to act as an Agile Coach for multiple teams, to include helping identify and solution gaps, be a proponent for Agile tools in use (Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint). May need to act in a Project Management capacity at times. RESPONSIBILITIES- Owns and guides multiple teams in a portfolio of technology-driven initiatives supporting multiple lines of business units/LOBs
- Responsible for facilitating all team level ceremonies and routines including daily meetings, Backlog Refinement, Demos/Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Manages multiple Agile based teams at the enterprise level working within an ePMO
- Ensures the team has a healthy product and backlog (at minimum 3-4 sprints worth of work defined, in collaboration with the PO)
- Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team
- Holds team (product, development, QA, other team members) accountable for delivery commitments. Helps team identify when commitments are at risk, and helps team determine possible solutions to ensure commitments are met
- Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration within the team to support value delivery and iteration
- Provides visibility into the team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders

- Minimum of 4+ years of Scrum Master experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or related certification)
- Experience applying concepts and techniques from various Agile approaches
- Ability to serve as SME/Coach for team members that may be new to iterating; expertise with coaching one or more teams on Scrum practices and developing own understanding of delivery and Agile delivery principles.
- Well versed with facilitating technical project routines and Scrum ceremonies i.e. release planning and execution, Daily meetings, Backlog Refinement, Demos/Reviews, and Retrospectives
- If in a Scaled Agile model, the delivery lead must be able to conduct scaled planning for the team-e.g. Pre-Planning/Preparation, Release/PI Planning Events
- Seasoned professional that has the experience to help the team norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done and enforces the agreements
