- Understanding of payment flows among applications, operations groups, and resulting accounting in multiple regions.
- Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to partners, project team, manager, etc.
- Translates business requirements into Epics, stories and tasks in Jira
- Works with development and testing teams to deliver solutions
- Understands business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
- Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.
- Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices.
- May train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures. May provide coaching and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts.
- May provide coaching and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts.
- 5+ years' experience as a business analyst.
- Experience gathering and documenting user requirements and partnering to build a high level design document.
- Experience working alongside a technical team (i.e., Programmers, QA's, vendor resources)
- Good knowledge of agile practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Commercial Lending
- Strong understanding of Tax
- Experience with LoanIQ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and analytical skills required.
- Ability to focus on the right level of detail.
- Adaptable to change in a fast paced environment.
