Sr C++ Software EngineerCharlotte, NCDirect HireTarget Pay: $90k - $115k base salary Work is a hybrid couple days onsite at corporate office and the rest remote

Job Responsibilities:Sr Software Engineer role for a prominent Charlotte, NC company. They are in the Top 5 in their industry in the USA. This is a hardware company that has core software tools and customizes them for each client and their manufacturing / production facilities. Design, build, test, and implement the custom software applications that interact with their hardware devices that they design and create.

Work within small teams of software and hardware engineers, and customers directly. There are both hardware engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers. Do some customer project management to track the timelines of the work completed and work yet to be done.

Occasional travel up to 15% required to client sites in the US for software/hardware implementations.Ability to drive to client sites once in those areas.

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of software development work experience with Microsoft C++ development.
  • Experience with Oracle or SQL Databases.
  • Experience with Software Integrations or Implementations.
  • Unix or Linux operating systems experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
Desirable Experience/Skills:
  • Python or Shell Scripting
  • Automated material handling systems (semi-conductor experience highly preferred)
  • JAVA application development
  • Japanese language skills

Environment:Small Teams - must be able to cross over and learnThis is a work remote role most of the time. Staggered days onsite at company to share ideas and participate in work sessions.Initially onsite for the first 30 - 60 days to learn from othersCubicles, Conference rooms, break rooms, coffee barSmaller office feel with ample outdoor parkingBusiness dress attire is casual, jeans.
