Very busy and growing residential custom cabinet shop located in Lake Wylie, SC needing to hire an experienced cabinet builder for a full time, long-term position. Minimum 3 years of full-time cabinet shop experience required. We design, build, finish and install our work. Knowledge and experience in these areas is preferred. Overtime is available. We are not a CNC shop. Pay is based on knowledge and experience. Email your resume for review.
Duties/job description:
Knowledge of operating equipment and power tools. (Table saw, panel saw, edge bander, miter saw, routers, sanders, staple/nail guns, etc.)
Reading shop drawings for cabinets.
Cutting and preparing parts for assembly and finish. (We are not a CNC shop)
Own your own basic hand tools. (Hammer, tape measure, screw drivers/tips/tip holder, etc.
Some must haves:
Minimum 3 years of full-time cabinet shop experience required.
Be punctual We start at 7:30 am, not 7:31 or later.
Have a good attitude and be able to work well and get along with others.
Follow directions.
Have common sense and know how to use it.
Have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Read a tape measure and good math skills.
