SMI Properties is seeking full time Rig Manager Driver Teams to work as a member of our Sports Design team. We are preferably looking for couples who can ride together and share same room accommodations while on the road.
Our Rig Teams are all year employees working on the road up to 6 weeks at a time and managing their rig's merchandise at each event. Rig Teams will be traveling the NASCAR Cup Circuit and selling merchandise from souvenir trailer at all Cup Events. Ability to work extended days including evening and weekend hours is a must. This work will include working outside in all types of weather.
Minimum Requirements: Valid and clean Class A CDL needed for one of the two positions. Basic computer skills and POS Systems knowledge required. This is a team position that requires you to share work space, share one ride, and one hotel room, etc. Potential hires must be able to pass an extensive background screening.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage merchandise trailer at 38 events throughout the year
Arrive to all events safely and on time
Order merchandise from main office and stock trailer weekly
Sell merchandise to customers during events
Keep track of inventory
Report sales
Keep trailer clean and presentable inside and outside
Manager on-site temp staff who will be assisting with selling merchandise
