Located in Clayton NC, Piper companies is looking for a Principal Automation Engineer to lead our team! Currently, we are looking for someone to coordinate and drive implementation of automation technology and solutions across the site.
Responsibilities for the Principal Automation Engineer include:Support Automation in developing strategic perspective for the automation IT system platform at a biotech API siteAlign IT infrastructure components & global IT solutionsHelp identify department competency & process gaps & support developing methods to close these gapsDefine & manage automation system platformSupport management of the system life system including project roadmapSupport vendor/supplier relationshipsQualifications for the Principal Automation Engineer include:7+ years of Automation experience Knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell), Delta V, SCADA, MESProven expertise in project management, planning/organization, and project executionExperience troubleshooting automation, controls systems and Batch processCompensation for the Principal Automation Engineer include:Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 (based on experience)Comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO and bonusVacancy expired!
