Piper Companies is actively seeking a
Utilities Process Engineer in the Raleigh, NC to join a global pharmaceutical organization that looks to provide solutions for chronic diseases.The Utilities Process Engineer will support new projects, equipment, and utilities throughout an API facility.Responsibilities of the Utilities Process Engineer: • Utilize process and instrumentation diagrams to detect issues in the facility (pumps, valves, tanks, distillation columns) • Own change control requests and address deviations • Identify and implement process improvement measures on existing equipment throughout the facility • Complete validation protocols on equipment and maintain safety while handling raw materials and chemicals such as phosphoric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, ethanol, etc. • Provide routine support and troubleshoot mechanical issuesQualifications of the Utilities Process Engineer: • B.S./M.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study • 2-5 years of experience in an engineering production environment or related field • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues in equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, distillation columns, etc. • Experience with regulated environment's that have abided by FDA, OSHA, or EPA rulesCompensation for the Utilities Process Engineer: • $40-$60/hr., depending on relevant industry experience • Comprehensive Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401kKey Words: Process Engineer, Design, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, GMP, Process Control, Solvent, commissioning, qualification, GMP, pharma, raw material, chemicals, distillation, columns, DAPI-US, validation, mechanical, pump, tank, valve, technical support, Raleigh, North CarolinaVacancy expired!
