- Ensure all equipment and processes are safe to operate. Understanding of NEC and other pertinent safety codes.
- Strong practical hands-on electrical aptitude
- Willing to work in a manufacturing production environment
- General experience with automation and automated systems
- Experience with various types of conveyor systems
- Experience with Allen Bradley controllers and associated hardware including: PLC and I/O devices, motion control, various communication protocols, field wiring and disconnect devices.
- Ability to debug and monitor ladder logic PLC code.
- Ability to generate and interpret electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Practical experience with mechanical and electrical systems; mechanical, pneumatic and electrical
- B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or, Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated controls aptitude
- 3 or more years’ equipment/controls experience in manufacturing.
- Would consider AAS Degreed candidates, within the above disciplines, with 7+ practical experience.
- Self-starter with ability to work well with various job requirements.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to oversee a small team of technical resources to install industrial equipment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in an organized manner.
- Results oriented.
