WestRock FOOD & BEVERAGE, AMERICAS CONOVER, NC Job Description and Essential Functions Department: Admin (Reports to Estimator/Materials Supervisor) Job Title: Materials Coordinator l Education Requirement(s): Minimum High School Diploma/GED. Summary: Responsible for ordering and maintaining materials needed for production. Daily overseeing for accurate inventory levels and generate PO’s for items needing ordered. Providing solutions and ideas on how additional improvements can be made to help with reducing inventory levels. 100% ownership from start to finish on materials/supplies purchased. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager. Safety: Required - PPE must be worn while on your job. At a minimum safety glasses, steel toe shoes and hearing protection. Gloves are required on the production floor and warehouses at all times. Please see Appendix A and Appendix B (Conover Specific) attached to the WestRock Glove Policy (CompliantPro). Be responsible for direct and indirect materials used in the production process.

Develop order patterns, lead time requirements and maintain day to day inventory levels of assigned materials.

Report on weekly/monthly basis of trends and inventory to the Materials Supervisor.

Create PO’s for specific vendors, track and report on delivery issues.

Report material scheduling issues to the customer service group and production groups as needed.

Provide support as needed to other Material Coordinators

Participate in Production Planning Pillar

Assist in preparation and maintenance of reports, databases and tracking of required metrics.
