Cloud Architect
Position Description CGI Federal is looking for a seasoned Cloud Architect to support a large contract within the Federal Civilian space.Your future duties and responsibilities - Provide technical/business consulting to internal Technology organizations and client-sponsored activities outside of Technology.- Analyze the business drivers that determine key architecture requirements.- Develop the process for creating a technical strategy that supports the business strategy and facilitate its development, and maintenance.- Develops and maintains strong relationships with business domain leadership to keep track of roadmaps, changing business needs, and priorities.- Contribute to EA community by developing reference architectures, training/certification material etc.- Perform research activities to identify emerging technologies and trends.- Maintain awareness of vendor/product industry developments, regulations and trends and identify potential impacts to the enterprise.Required qualifications to be successful in this role 10+ years of Software Development experience• 6+ years of cloud architecture design and implementation experience, with certifications in relevant cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)• Proven leadership skills, demonstrated ability to mentor, influence and partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable robust solutions.• Significant experience working on technology and solution architecture in an engineering, design and architecture capacity. Proficiency in multiple enterprise technologies, architectural styles, and techniques.• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps• Passionate about technology and delivering solutions for difficult and intricate problems.• Proven track record to understand and work with the multiple technologies that encompass new IT solutions• Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required#CGIFederalJobBuild your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
