Labcorp is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a dynamic team in Durham(RTP), NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in technical design planning, solution approach and manage technical implementation for project.
  • Work from functional specifications.
  • Write technical specifications technical design, using flow charts, data flow diagrams, pseudo-code, ER diagrams, and other methods of documentation.
  • Analyze, review, and alter programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
  • Work across cross-functional teams to collaborate in the course of realizing the development, deployment and maintenance of solutions.
  • Perform full-stack application development using advanced expertise in OO programming & design patterns in one or more of the core compiled languages such as Java depending on the target solution, as well as various interpreted languages including Javascript and Python.
  • Design, develop, code, automate, test, debug, and document solutions and services for both maintaining and extending existing system.
  • Identify areas of technical opportunity and put forward proposals for system design and/or process in a clear and defensible manner with an eye towards advancing overall solution quality as a regular practice.
  • Work in container-based and encapsulated approaches using Docker and other approaches.
  • Leverage cloud services and infrastructure to build serverless systems and subsystems where appropriate, using such tools as AWS, LAMBDA, DYNAMODB, API Gateway and others.
  • Create end to end automation & leverage frameworks to enact IAAS as part of highly maintainable ecosystem.
  • Develop and extend UI frameworks such as Angular utilizing best practice design and methodology.
  • Implement and review automated tests including unit tests, service level tests and function UI testing.
  • Work with and integrate security patterns including authentication and authorization strategies that incorporate multiple resource providers and distributed systems and clients.
  • Utilize ML techniques and tools where appropriate to extend, augment or replace traditional computing solutions.
  • Learn and adapt regularly to new and emerging approaches to solving business problems and participate in technology choices that take a solution-centric preference.
  • Contribute to and model a culture of high trust, high curiosity, and high standards for quality and solution delivery.
License/Certification/Education: B.S. in Computer Science with 10+ years experience in design and development of Web applications.
