Senior Full Stack Tooling and Support Engineer position for its client in North Carolina. This is

100% remote and direct hire position for who has 3+ years of experience in developing internal tools and automate processes that will provide an unmatched experience for customers like the Boston Red Sox and Orlando Magic. You'll be directly supporting internal stakeholders and our customers' technical teams to deliver critical integrations between their key backend systems and Teamworks. This role is key to the experience our customers have with our software.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join the team leading the digital transformation of elite athletics. Examples of types of problems you'll be solving:
  • Building out the administrative backend that our Customer Support team lives in every day: make it faster, make it more user-friendly, make it DO MORE STUFF to save your colleagues from tedious, error-prone manual processes. Reduce the toil!
  • Assisting a university IT department with integrating their back-end systems (e.g., SSO, class registrations, calendar uploads) so that our software complies with university security standards, and so that student athlete calendars always and automatically reflect proper class schedules.
  • Developing customer-facing interfaces to move processes that are currently handled manually by our Support team (e.g., user uploads, applying custom attributes to users) to a customer-delighting self-service model.
  • Relevant Skills and Technologies
  • Modern Python and React (anyone with years of experience in a modern back-end language, like C#, or familiar with and experienced in modern web stack languages could also be considered)
  • Experience with a variety of AWS services
  • Deploying software with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Relational databases and ORMs (we use PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy)
  • Asynchronous tasks/queues
  • Ability to translate tech-speak to plain language: you'll work closely with customer-facing teams and customers themselves and will usually be the most technical person in the conversation, so you need to be able to make people of all skill sets understand what you're saying.
