Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Sr. Kafka Engineer to join a global medical device company in their Durham, NC office. The Sr. Kafka Engineer will be responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing Kafka solutions, while also providing support on administration and troubleshooting of the Kafka platform. The Sr. Kafka Engineer must have experience implementing Kafka Producer and Consumer applications, developing applications using Java or Python, and ideally some cloud experience. This position is able to provide some relocation assistance if necessary, and is open for visa sponsorship if necessary. Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience building Kafka applications and solutions
- 5+ years of professional experience in the software engineering field
- Experience with AWS preferred
- Kafka Certifications a plus
- $120,000 - $135,000 base salary, based on experience
- 10% annual performance bonus
