- Team is seeking a candidate in the data modelling and analysis organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading data modelling and analysis across different projects with diverse scope and sophisticated business and technical requirements in a highly integrated data environment.
- This role requires working autonomously and under consultative direction for achieving organizational strategic data goals.
- This is a key role in leading the development of high-quality data model deliverables, working as part of a team that helps to deliver data as a key asset for the enterprise.
- You must be comfortable working in a fast paced and highly ambiguous agile environment where there is a focus on timely delivery of data models and other data artefacts.
- The Data Analyst works closely with business and technical teams to drive the creation of scalable, flexible, well governed and detailed data design solutions.
- They drive adoption of enterprise and industry standard modelling methodologies and best practices.
- They partner with project teams to deliver practical & resilient data model designs that meet current business needs and are capable of easily adapting to new needs in the future.
- 7-8 years’ experience in the technology / financial services industry.
- Data analyst skillset – Power Designer, Oracle/SQL skills and Data Cataloging products would be the key technical skills
- Strong analysis/communication skills – ability to work with both business and technical teams on creating data deliverables.
- Financial services domain knowledge and enterprise data governance and standards
- Experience with data design, analysis and development. Development experience weighted towards PL/SQL and ETL tools (Informatica preferably)
- You are an experienced enterprise data modeller who can define conceptual and logical data models, with strong definitions, to capture organizational data needs across multiple subject areas
- You can deliver physical databases design from logical data models for various types of systems such as operational systems, data warehouses, data lakes and others
- You can lead requirement and analysis sessions with business and technical staff to analyse data requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- You are a strong proponent of communicating and enforcing enterprise data governance standards
- You have strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical associates in the company
- You have proven the ability to work across project teams and develop positive working relationships with peers and senior management
- You have Technology / Financial services business domain expertise
