Role: Data Modeler/Analyst

Locations: Durham, NC OR Smithfield, RI OR Boston, MA

(1 week onsite per month)

Duration: 6+ Months (Increments/Renewing)

Pay rate starts from: $65/hr. W2 only

Must haves:

Modeling - Entity Relationship and Dimensional
SQL Skills
Data Modeling Tool such as Power Designer, Oracle Designer or Erwin

Good communication skills, collaborative and able to work in the Agile environment

Nice to have:

Financial Services experience.
Power Designer skills
Looking for a Data Modeler who has worked on projects that involved Financial Services.
Awareness of Data Architecture and Data Analysis will be a strong plus

The Expertise You Bring

Strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both a project and enterprise level
Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed dimensions that can be used across Business Units.
Data Modeling Tool such as Power Designer, Oracle Designer or Erwin
Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture
Ability to write SQL to query data (ideally ANSI SQL)
General working knowledge of Big Data technologies, techniques, and trends

Nice to haves:

Experience with Snowflake experience a plus
Experience with data governance and metadata management tools and standard methodologies a plus
