- Familiarity with implementing and supporting databases in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment.
- Hands on working knowledge of Cloud Databases especially AWS Managed Databases such as Aurora MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle
- Experience with Cloud Database management and configurations in the areas of; Cloud DB Performance, Cost Optimization, Multiregional, Scalability, Replication, Utilization, Security, Accounts optimization
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL for structured and non-structured data, and SQL & ORM Query optimization and tuning.
- Knowledge of MVVC architectures and frameworks such as Node, Nest, Spring-Hibernate is a plus
- Able to identify and implement improvements for DB tables/schemas by indexing, keys, costing, etc.
- Analyzing big data to build reporting using Tableau or similar capabilities
- Ability to collaborate within enterprise and multi-functional Business Units to represent your team
- High level of Innovative spirit, commitment, initiative, vision and enthusiasm
- Proven diagnostic problem solving and solution development capabilities
- Transactional replication and performance tuning.
- Knowledge on Agile Project Management Methodology.
- Proven expertise in multiple technology solutions in an AWS environment.
- Senior level technical leader who can prioritize sophisticated technical problems quickly and communicate clearly the root cause analysis and the associated problem actions.
- Worked in an Agile team environment and utilize Agile practices to prioritize feature work and drive business value for our partners.
- Collaborate well with your team members and are able to influence your technology peers.
- Demonstrate the aptitude to learn new technologies and to adapt to organization and technology changes.
- Implement database technology solutions that are robust and scalable based on the business requirements
- Provide leadership on critical technical production issues by focusing on mitigating business impact and resolving database technical database issues
- Communicate and manage product roadmap timelines for database technology lifecycle and initiatives
- Document database technology infrastructure standard methodologies
- Perform database administration functions including infrastructure set up and support performance tuning, solution implementations and environment support
- Find opportunities for automating operational database activities to enable the organization to scale and reduce costs
- Ability to analyze technical database problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds to address business impact
