The Director of Digital Transformation, focusing on Enterprise Strategy, is responsible for driving IT initiatives that support four of Labcorp's key priorities across the enterprise
: 1) leveraging our capabilities across our diagnostics and drug development businesses, 2) intensifying customer focus, 3) leading in oncology, and 4) focusing on high-growth opportunities. This cross-functional role will work across various groups within IT and throughout the enterprise to understand the value of digital technologies in advancing these key priorities, gain stakeholder support, drive implementation and adoption of technologies, and communicate status and successes with executive leadership. Primary responsibilities include:- Understanding the value of digital technologies in advancing four key priorities
- Working cross-functionally across the enterprise to understand key priorities and how they fit into each business unit
- Collaborating cross-functionally within IT to understand current-state systems and technology as well as future-state vision
- Identifying technology improvements to support key priorities and developing business case to analyze feasibility and impact
- Gaining stakeholder support
- Cultivating relationships across IT and the enterprise to partner on enabling progress toward key priorities
- Maintaining regular communication with executive sponsors' designees to ensure technology needs for key priorities are met
- Driving implementation and adoption of new technologies as needed
- Partnering closely with business leaders, IT PMO, IT business partners, and/or software development teams to set strategy and guide implementation
- Analyzing business processes for digitization and/or automation opportunities to advance key priorities and establishing change management strategies as needed
- Communicating status and successes with executive leadership
- Developing and implementing regular communication format and cadence to ensure enterprise Chief Information and Technology Officer is aware of status and successes across all four priorities
