Job Title: Mobile Developer (iOS/ Android)-(Initial Remote)

Job Location: Durham, NC

Duration: 6 Months

W2 Only

Special Instructions: 1) Ideal Candidate:
  • Native app developer with native mobile development exp.
  • Angular or GraphQL experience is a huge asset. Not only if they have created front end UIs and API’s is a plus
  • Someone who hands on knowledge on native mobile dev.
2) Top Three Skills:
  • Either iOS or Android exp
  • Kotlin or Swift
  • Native app development exp.
3) Nice to Haves:
  • Anyone interested in or familiar with fundamental of AI or data analysis
  • Angular and NodeJS is a nice to have

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Proven experience developing iOS or Android apps using Swift or Kotlin and/or Objective-C supported by RESTful web services.
  • Hands-on experience using NodeJS, ExpressJS, NestJS or GraphQL to develop experience API.
  • Bonus points for hands-on experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript technology stack like Angular single page application framework.
  • Experience in data analytics, data science and artificial intelligence areas (AI model development, deployment, and leveraging AI for automation of tasks) is a plus.
  • Experience developing application in public cloud like AWS is a plus
  • Assist in coordinating multiple development work streams through integration and ensure architecture is scalable, resilient, extensible, and aligned to strategic vision.
  • Define, maintain, and support development environments and best practices, using open-source tools.
  • Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and non-production environment and perform troubleshooting.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using open-source frameworks.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
