Special Instructions: They are looking for 2, almost 3 people in 1. They want some Power BI Admin experience with row Lev Security, Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting AND some traditional dev / engineering experience with Scripting/ Automation, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Data Modeling, Reports and Dashboards. If you have someone over the rate who you absolutely love, send them.

The Expertise You Have

:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology with minimum of 5-10 year of work experience
  • Advanced knowledge & “hands-on” experience on Power BI & Power BI Tenant Administration with at least 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge & experience with SQL and good understanding of Data warehousing and Relational database concepts & technologies
  • Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse
  • Exposure to Agile methodology

The Skills You Bring

:
  • Ability to setup and automate Power BI platform related activities using scripting languages like PowerShell/Python/Shell scripting etc
  • Ability to build CI/CD pipeline to check in and migrate Power BI data sets/dashboards/reports between workspaces utilizing Power BI Rest APIs/Power Platform
  • Ability to build framework to capture Power BI user tracking/logging, usage monitoring, anomalies detection in published data sets and reporting at an enterprise level using Power Platform
  • Ability to build framework that can be used to take regular backup of workspace content & data sets using Power BI Rest APIs/PBI cmdlets
  • Experience on working with Power BI and Snowflake in Direct Query mode
  • Strong analytical, presentation and leadership skills
  • Data Analysis using SQL on data sources
  • Ability to work and collaborate in globally dispersed organization
  • Strong project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise overtime, as well as drive process improvement
  • Adaptable, flexible and thrive in a changing, dynamic environment
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-starter and works well with minimal supervision
