About This Role

As a member of the PO&T Biosimilars team, the Program Manager works with Asset and Functional leaders providing operational support to meet Asset and business objectives. As a core member of the highly matrixed Asset Team, the individual must collaborate cross-functionally with SMEs, line directors, and occasionally VPs to align resources and drive results. Responsibilities will include due strategic projects, diligence, and early through commercial stage assets.

The role entails complex problems and situations, requiring in-depth data gathering and analysis of various factors as well as establishing understanding of decision impact on assets and supporting line functions. Judgment will be exercised in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining resolution in accordance with broadly defined practices and policies.

The program manager will influence asset strategy, goals, and execution planning and will provide input to broader cross-functional decisions.

What You’ll Do

· Participate in asset discussions and may occasionally lead cross-functional projects & initiatives

· Partner with asset leaders to manage resources and timelines to complete projects

· Lead program management system improvement initiatives designed to increase the efficiency and speed of asset/drug candidate launch and approval

· Drive Asset Team decisions and schedule adherence. Constructively escalate issues and decisions to Asset Leads, Head of Program Management, and Functional Line Heads as necessary

· Collaborate, as necessary, with Asset sub-team leads

· Aggregate information to enable Asset Level prioritization discussions

· Consult with supervisor, asset leaders, and functional area leads to help drive strategic direction, prioritization, and scientific ideas as needed

· Make schedule contingencies visible and develop assessment of contingency trade-offs to enable decisions on optimal path forward

Who You Are

You have a strong understanding of the drug development process as well as the science/engineering driving decisions. You also have knowledge of program and project management techniques, best practices, and their application. You have the ability and desire to work in a matrix organization, driving wholistic improvement across various line functions.

Qualifications

Required Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree OR relevant experience (inclusive of Military experience)

· 4+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills

· MBA or MS preferred

· Experience in the life sciences industry (e.g. pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices)

· Knowledge of program and project management principles

· Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

· Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communications to the audience
