Required
  • 3-5 years of IT experience with experience supporting mission critical applications
  • Experience Linux system operating system / administration
  • Experience with Shell scripting
  • Experience with supporting Java and its umbrella products for different applications
  • Experience with IT platform surveillance products (BMC Patrol, Nagios, BigBrother)
  • Knowledge of application API interfaces
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
  • Effective and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with various teams, internal and external customers.
  • Ability to relay complex technical information/solutions to appeal to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team
  • Ability to adapt easily to new system/policy/procedural changes
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision, take initiative, set priorities, follow through and see tasks through to completion.
Desired
  • General knowledge of Java/JVM technology
    • Command line options and system properties
    • Monitoring tools such as Java Mission Control and Jconsole
    • Interpretation of stack traces
  • General knowledge of Java application server technology such as WildFly, Tomcat, Jetty, Karaf
  • General knowledge of web service technology and protocols (SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.)
  • General knowledge of MySQL databases
  • Knowledge of CSI technologies such as GRM, DME2, AAF, BLINK
  • Experience with BPMN tool sets (Camunda, Motive)
