REMOTE START. Must be able to go into the office upon reopening (likely 2022); however, there will be remote flexibility for the duration of the contract. Open to relocation, local candidates preferred. Our industry-leading client in Durham is seeking a hands-on Technology Project Manager to lead Clinical Trial (CTMS) projects from inception through delivery.

This is a long-term contract opportunity. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Sr. IT Project Manager:

Lead project team through end-to-end delivery life cycle
Monitor and control scope, schedule, and financial health of the program
Actively track key project milestones across portfolio; take corrective action as needed
Regularly monitor and analyze financial health of project and act as needed
Partner across IT and business teams to match resources to initiatives
Ensure best practices and governance models are follow
Maintain a positive, results-oriented environment

Requirements of the Sr. IT Project Manager:

Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience
Solid IT PM experience in a PMO environment
Clinical trials management system (CTMS) experience required
Proficiency in PM core competencies: scope, time, budget, risk, quality, integration, resource management
Proficiency in MS applications like Excel, PPT, Visio, and Project; SharePoint and Jira a plus
Understanding of various project management methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum
Software development life cycle, application deployment, and information systems planning experience
