Developer

A growing fintech company in Cary is seeking a full time mid-senior level React Front End /UX Developer to help them revamp their web UI! This is a solid opportunity to work on a small, incubated, and fast-moving team within a large, stable organization. In this role, you will work to rearchitect and redevelop the front end of a financial risk analysis platform. The goal is to make the UI more professional, more user-friendly, and more modern. Key skills are React, Redux, TypeScript, and CSS.

This is is a direct-hire position with benefits; target salary is 9 0,000 - $120,000 with some flexibility for the right person. The office is in Durham, NC and candidates must be local, but hybrid flexible schedules are available. No relocation assistance, sponsorship, or C2C arrangements are available.

Primary Responsibilities of the

UX

Developer:

  • Hands on design, coding, testing and technical leadership in an agile and continuous delivery process
  • Focuses on developing well-structured code following Financial Risk's established coding standards
  • Develop software for both cloud and on-premises deployments with an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
  • Collaboration with other developers, designers and business owners to implement best practices, introduce new tools and improve processes
  • Experience and knowledge of the nuances required in creating cross-browser web applications.

Required Qualifications of the

UX

Developer:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with CSS
  • Experience with React/Redux
  • React web application unit testing and end to end testing knowledge
  • GraphQL and Web Sockets knowledge is a plus but not required
