Role: Principle Software Engineer in Cloud Technologies

Location: Merrimack, NH or Durham, NC or Westlake, TX (Onsite 1 week a month and remote 3 weeks a month)

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Contract to Hire)

Rate: $85/hr

Must Haves: This is a Software Engineer role that is focusing on Cloud work. Must have strong backend development experience (Java, Python, GO, etc.) and strong experience developing applications in the cloud. Strong AWS experience and infrastructure as code experience with Terraform, CFT or CDK. This is not a Cloud Engineer or DevOps role. It is a Software Engineer role that specializes in cloud.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of Hands-on experience in 2 or more languages (Python, Java, Go etc.).
  • Hands-on experience designing and building scalable and resilient applications in the cloud.
  • Serverless hands-on development and architecture experience implementing Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, etc
  • Experience delivering software using engineering best practices and principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CFT, CDK, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment.
  • Passion for new technologies and cloud trends.

Bonus skills

  • Cloud Certifications in AWS
