We are a progressive manufacturer of PET beverage bottles, supplying the Coca-Cola bottling system on the East Coast and in the Midwest. We have a proven track record of stability and sustained growth over the past 30 years, and are looking for candidates for the following position:

TITLE:

IT Help Desk Technician REPORTS TO: Corporate IS Manager

BASIC FUNCTION: To provide the first point of contact with employees of SEC who need technical assistance and assist the client resolving any technical problem through patient and friendly customer service via the phone or email and with remote access to their computer. To monitor system dashboards and tools for potential faults and cybersecurity risks and report them to the next level of support. To help maintain technical documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) As primary responder, respond to all Help Desk calls, emails, and tickets within the SLAs of the department.2) Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques3) Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues4) Provide quick resolution, excellent customer service, and followup with customers5) Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel6) Provide needed information on IT products or services7) Provide training as needed on the general use of personal computers to maximize equipment utilization.8) Keep record of problems and their resolution in the Help Desk Ticketing system.9) Maintain, monitor, and update the Help Desk Ticketing system.10) Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve11) Work in conjunction with the IT team, and vendors, to deploy and troubleshoot issues with newly implemented hardware, software, and in-house applications and systems.12) Monitor system dashboards and tools for potential faults and cybersecurity risks and report them to the next level of support.13) Maintain technical documentation on such things as the installation of software, configuration of hardware, problem troubleshooting, etc.14) Help the IT team in conceptualizing updates and upgrades that will enhance users' experience15) Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.16) Additional responsibilities may be required per the needs of the business17) Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Information Systems.
