An incredible opportunity for a Case Management Nursing Director is now available at a reputable Community Hospital just east of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
The Case Management Nursing Director will be joining a Joint Commission Accredited acute care facility that houses close to 200 licensed Beds. The hospital provides comprehensive care in a range of medical services including acute and skilled level care, Outpatient surgery, emergency and critical care, Women’s and children’s services and primary care services. Serving as a teaching hospital, the facility emphasizes on up-keep with state-of-the-art healthcare and innovative healthcare practices. The Case Management Nursing Director will be responsible for management and operations of utilization review and case management department. Reporting to the Chief Executive officer, the Director will oversee all of the case management staff, social workers and discharge planners. They will maintain and improve operations, performance and serve as a liaison to physicians, nurses, ancillary departments, community agencies, third party payers, the patient and family in assessing needs and formulating discharge plans to facilitate continuity of care at the appropriate level. The next Case management Nursing Director will ensure a positive work relationship.
Requirements include:
- BSN required and Current RN licensure in North Carolina
- Case Management Certification
- Expert knowledge of hospital case management and utilization review.
