This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Fletcher, North Carolina, area.Responsibilities:- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Provide 2nd tier support to existing applications.
- Transfer existing applications to new technologies.
- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Provide primary interface with vendor support service groups or provide internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
- Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions
- Desktop support or related experience
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong familiarity with MS Windows 10
- Desktop Imaging experience
- Adeptness in Support Tickets
- Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory
- IL and ITSM knowledge is preferred
