As a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer on our team, you'll operate, maintain and secure a Kubernetes based Cloud service within a Cloud-based, open-sourced, Platform as a Service ( PaaS ) environment to enable c us tomer development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance for our Cloud products in support of deployed applications and systems. You will us e your development expertise to streamline our sof tware development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to cut down on tedio us , boring operations and maintenance tasks and free up the team's time to do what they do best - innovate. You will also leverage an automated continuo us integration and delivery pipeline to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You will design and document systems, write code, and generate automation. You will be responsible for measured, methodical and diligent troubleshooting of complicated platform systems. You will assist with all backend and underlying system design and documentation as well as developing and maintaining logging and monitoring systems.

You'll work with a team of Cloud and DevOps engineers to help the c us tomer overcome their most difficult challenges in the Cloud. Your support and te chn ical skills will be vital as you work across multiple IT organizations to ensure standards are met throughout the Cloud migration process. You'll be able to sharpen your skills in Cloud computing, automation, SecDevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization, and you'll help identify new opportunities to build Cloud-based solutions to help your c us tomers meet their evolving needs. You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with development and production platform engineering support
  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps or DevSecOps through CI/CD pipeline tools, including Gitlab
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile development
  • 1+ years of experience with container and orchestration solutions, including Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes
  • 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, or Packer
  • Experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Secrets Manager, or IAM
  • Experience with application, network, and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis
  • Knowledge of secure configuration guidelines, including DoD STIGs
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with analyzing observability metrics, logs, or traces
  • Experience in creating and updating te chn ical process documentation
  • Experience with incident response and general O & M/SRE processes, including SLA/SLO
  • Experience with application development
  • Knowledge of secure systems development practices, including principle of least privilege, secrets management, static code analysis, and artifact management
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defense, auditing, and authentication
  • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • AWS Certification
  • Security+ Certification
