D shift Shipping/Packaging Supervisor

Job Description

Manage and lead the Shipping/Packaging department (

· Manage material flow into and out of logistics controlled warehouse and inventory managed locations.

· Detect inventory and receiving issues and apply problem solving skills to improve inventory accuracy.

· Work with the Supervisors to ensure continuous flow

· Work with the traffic manager as needed to ensure inbound material flow.

· Attend meetings as needed to support Logistics

· Manage associates work, vacation and reviews.

· Work with LOG Manager on all supporting projects for continuous improvement

· Demonstrated ability to provide guidance to team leaders on technical issues and perform daily meetings

· Ability to consistently apply established standards, policies and procedures in meeting business objectives

· Motivated with need for achievement; ability to perform duties steadily and consistently

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent time management skills.

· PC experience with a good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

· Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks in high bay racking.

Ability to professionally and positively interact with customers and business colleagues

Qualifications

• Bosch Production System a plus
• 3-5 years’ Physical logistics processes and techniques
• Supervisory experience preformed.

· Demonstrated ability to provide guidance to team leaders on technical issues and perform daily meetings

· Ability to consistently apply established standards, policies and procedures in meeting business objectives

• Motivate with need for achievement; ability to perform duties steadily and consistently
