Job Description
- Derive and implement I4.0 Strategy and Digital Manufacturing Standards for the overall production systems approach, including IT Roadmap
- Translate technical needs into IT Solutions, develop, and implement the requirements management process to meet customer, stakeholder & IT systems requirements
- Support CI with development and implementation of IT Infrastructure stability, maintainability, and speed
- Ensure correct and available standards (Bosch, DC, external) are considered; including prioritized migration of legacy solutions to standard solutions
- Networking and benchmarking within and outside of Bosch for current and new industry technology and solutions
- Cost estimating, timing, cost/benefit and technical fitment evaluations
Qualifications
4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or strongly related field
Ability to work cross-functionally with IT and Operational associates
Experience in industrial controls/automation and systems development with relational databases
Knowledge of software programming languages (full of at least 1 object oriented: C#, Java, etc)
Experience with database management (SQL, Oracle)
Know-how to connect machines to databases and then do something with it
Ability to visualize and orchestrate new IT solutions in plant/manufacturing environment
Familiarity with industry standard communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc)
Knowledge of industrial controls PLC (Rexroth, Siemens, CoDeSys, etc)
Knowledge about data mining methodologies
Strong Project Management skills
