ROUTE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (w/m/d) - Europe/North America - Frankfurt / Stuttgart / Düsseldorf / Hamburg / München

Job Description

• Responsible for the deployment and execution of
  the North America & Europe growth strategy (both:
  import and export)
• Working with the Sales department, support the on boarding of New Logos (customers) and New Business.
• Working with the Account Management department, support the development of existing customers revenue on this key route.
• Working with Product and Vertical teams to develope route / mode / industry specific programs.
• Create and maintain route specific marketing material
• Maintain and deliver internal ‘awareness’ training
• Facilitate customer workshops
• (Extensive) travel to Expeditors offices and customers’ in both regions
• Promote compliance and diligently follow all company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Educational logistics background (e.g. "Ausbildung Speditionskaufleute" / logistics studies or comparable)
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in a customer facing role within our industry or comparable
• Experience in a global (logistics) organization
• Strong market and competition knowledge specific to the assign regions (ideally in both Europe andNorth America)
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, communicate clearly and concisely.
• A broad range of management skills, with a particular emphasis on leadership, motivation, communication, planning, negotiation and presentation.
• Self-reflecting and open to feedback
• Willing to travel
• A strong team player with a firm, personal commitment towards the business and its customers.
• Excellent collaborative skills
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word etc.).
• Cloud basedsoftware solutions (Azure,Power BI dashboards etc.)
• Good German and Englisch language skills
