Industry leading commercial truck dealership seeking Assistant Controller. Family owned business; 8 locations throughout NC. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Manage AP and clerical accounting staff
Ensure timely and accurate general ledger balances and reporting
Prepare account reconciliations
Analyze and adjust various accounts and estimates
Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements
Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Core competencies: Detail-oriented; Strong analytical capabilities; Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Works well with others. Good time management skills. Good organizational skills.
Qualifications Required - Accounting Degree (CPA a plus)
Minimum 5 years accounting experience (automotive dealership experience a significant plus)
Successful experience in managing people and accounting functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
