Immediate Accounting Position Open (Greensboro)

Local small business has an immediate accounting position open, and looking for someone to join us right away. Applicant must have a minimum 2-year degree in accounting, or at least 10 years specific accounting job experience. Payroll experience and HR administration are also required. Applicant will be required to handle both accounts payable & accounts receivable with precision and accuracy using a ledger based accounting system. Regular tasks will include balancing general ledger accounts, monthly/quarterly reporting (balance sheets & income statements, etc.), and a fundamental understanding of credits/debits within accounting transactions. Other skill sets include a good working knowledge of QuickBooks, and must be proficient with Word/Excel/Outlook and other standard office computer applications. Applicants must have a warm/inviting personality with good people skills, both on the phone and in person (as you may interact with customers), and must have excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. This positions requires a 'team player' who can tackle challenges with a positive attitude and be willing to 'ask before acting' when uncertain situations arise. Having your notary is not required, but is a definite plus. Pay and benefits will be based upon your experience.
