Piper Companies is seeking Compliance Director for a global leader in the Mortgage industry. The Compliance Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire compliance program and will assist in the development/implementation of policies and procedures. This is a hybrid position with the requirement of a weekly presence in the office which is located in Greensboro, NC or Raleigh NC.
Responsibilities of the Compliance Director- Work cross functionally with legal counsel, management, key department and committees to ensure that the organization has developed, implement and trained on all appropriate compliance regulations
- Implement and administer processes to maintain compliance with Federal and State laws
- Conduct risk-based compliance testing and monitoring of multiple areas of the company's business
- Manage the development, administration and tracking of mandatory compliance training courses
- Provide ongoing support to the Chief Compliance Officer
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage or P&C Insurance compliance
- Ability to understand complex regulations and apply that understanding to the business
- Familiarity with loan documentation and customer service orientation
- Demonstrated comfort working in a fast-paced environment
