Tower Legal is seeking experienced paralegals to assist a corporate legal team in the Greensboro area. This role will provide support in all aspects of our client's legal practice.
Duties include:
Provide legal transaction support to attorneys and clients
Prepare and manage legal documents, such as contracts, licenses, merger and acquisition documents, corporate records, correspondence, reports and presentations
Assist with 3rd party/vendor negotiations of terms
Ensure compliance with regards to regulations, trademark usage and marketing statements
Provide paralegal support related to compliance with regulations
Transaction management including document review, maintenance of correspondence and filing
Efficiently communicate with attorneys, internal clients and vendors
Provide legal research and analysis as well as create summaries and recommendations
Maintain corporate records in compliance with corporate policies
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other duties/projects as may be assigned to the role
Requirements:
Bachelors degree with a paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience, training and/or certification
At least 5 years experience in a corporate legal department or major law firm environment highly preferred
Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved paralegal program (or associate degree in paralegal studies)
Must be able to analyze and interpret complex documents and contracts as well as draft, review, proof, redline and manage legal documents
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent skills in database management and reporting, including Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and assess clients needs in order to effectively liaise between clients and attorneys
Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and projects while working under deadlines
Ability to manage confidential information and overcome obstacles to accomplish goals
