Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Java) for a growing technology firm in the Greensboro, North Carolina or Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Sr. Software Engineer (Java) will be responsible for providing expertise and influence within the software engineering team on engineering decisions and best practices.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Software Engineer (Java) include: • Design, develop, and implement new backend and frontend services and applications • Mentor and lead junior team members on how to build scalable, secure, and high quality code • Collaborate with cross functional teams • Ensure best practices and governance models are leveraged Requirements for the Sr. Software Engineer (Java) include: • Over 3 years of full stack Java development production level experience building scalable solutions • Strong experience building RESTful APIs • Springboot, Angular, Typescript, and Javascript experience • Kubernetes experience is highly preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant works experience Compensation of the Sr. Software Engineer (Java): • Salary Range: $120,000 - $142,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package Keywords: Java, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Cloud, Microservices, RESTVacancy expired!
