Job Description
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist position maintains the distribution facility's inventory through a warehouse management database as required on a daily basis to meet distribution demands.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct cycle counts using a computer database via RF or UI
- Reconfiguration of racking
- Returns processing
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with business units and inspection personnel
- Record and update all item and location master fields
- Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory
- Assist with customer returns and evaluate customer complaints to determine validity of the claim
- Slot and re-slot products according to the internal ABC velocity strategy and sizing guidelines
- Handle emails from planners or product managers to inspect and/or photograph items as needed
- Assist VSLs on special projects as directed
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Training in general safety, sexual harassmentprevention, quality system awareness.
- Preferably an Associate's degree with a focus in business/computer curriculum
- Minimum of one year of inventory control experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Some team lead experience desired
- Basic Excel skills
- Excellent math skills

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
