Job Purpose or Summary:

Job Duties/Responsibilities. Supports war-fighting processes providing virtual services for the Marine Expeditionary Force to create, organize, discuss, review, store and disseminate information in distributed operating environment. Examples include Internet Relay Chat Protocol/ Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (IRCP/XMPP) Chat Services, Skype for Business (SfB) 2015 / Defense Collaborative Service (DCS), SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, Office 365, and All Partners Access Network (APAN) on all assigned networks. The Collaborative Services (CS) CS Administrators manage the associated servers maintaining a high level of availability and ensuring all required Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) are applied and all Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) are applied as needed. Completes all CS Service Requests in a timely manner ensuring customer is satisfied with results. Service requests are reviewed weekly for completion and accuracy.

Education/Experience Requirements.

More than 4 years server administration experience, SharePoint preferred.

DOD 8570.1M IAT Level II (GSEC, CompTIA Security+, SCNP SSCP), SQL Server, and VMware Certified Associate 6 Certifications.

Required Skills.

Completes Service Requests in production and deployed environments

Installs, configures and upgrades CS server farms for Marine Air-Ground Task Force deployments.

Maintains and upgrades CS production environment.

Manages CS system operations and services.

Configures and establishes CS replication for deploying MAGTFs.

Backs up CS production and deployed data.

Installs, configures, and maintains Structured Query Language (SQL) servers in production and deployed environments.

Creates and executes CS redeployment plans for returning MAGTFs.

Installs, configures, and maintains Storage Area Networks (SAN), NetApp, and VSAN in production and deployed environments.

Uses MS Office products and PowerShell.
