Job Description
The Graphics Specialist produces engaging visual content, both print and digital, to support all functions across the business. Reports to the GraphicsManager.
- Creates content including posters, product signs, price tags, demonstration signs, table cards, menus and flyers needed for restaurants, in-store events, retail displays and promotions
- Updates and maintains menus as needed by Eataly restaurants
- Assists in designing and publishing weekly email newsletters
- Generates and retouches photos - including food, space and portrait photography
- Works collaboratively at a fast pace with a wide range of peers and managers
- Fulfills all incoming retail requests and production tasks as needed and according to urgency
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design and/or Art preferred
- 2+ consecutive years of design experience, preferably in the food or retail industry
- Knowledge of print layout, typography and print production
- Creative eye and exceptional attention to detail
- Positive attitude, patience and willingness to be flexible and readjust priorities as needed
- Digital photography skills with the ability to operate SLR camera preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
- Knowledge of Italian language preferred but not required
- Availability to work a flexible schedule
