As a Rack & Stack Technician you will:

• Rack and stack assets including network switches, computer servers, PDUs and related equipment in a data center environment• Install and dress cables: primary/secondary power, DAC, Ethernet & fiber• Label cables in accordance with build specifications• Tag assets to ensure proper cataloging in asset database• Work with hand tools to assemble cabinets and install related hardwareRack & Stack Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 1 year+ experience working with Ethernet and/or fiber cables• Previous experience working with rack mounted network switches/routers and servers• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand throughout an 8-hour shift, and lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipment as neededExperience with the following is a plus:• Racking and stacking• Ethernet and/or fiber cables• Previous work in a data center environment • Hardware installation• Networking or computer certifications
