Join our fast-paced Performance Engineering team.

The successful candidate will have a passion for performance engineering and be an evangelist to communicate the team's vision across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to devise and implement changes that optimize performance on our global services. You'll define, implement, and mine data feeds that influence company decision-making at the highest levels.

The role requires strong cross-division collaboration with multiple teams and flexibility in schedule and is a hands-on leader in the design, development and implementation of a forward-looking performance engineering strategy. This should interface with all our internal customers in the most efficient and cost-effective approach to meet business requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommending viable technical solutions that would improve the effectiveness of the team and reduce technical debt
  • Solving problems and championing efforts to improve the team's productivity and efficiency in performance testing and analysis through automation and other means
  • Understanding complex application topologies and architecture including applications hosted on the cloud and defining newer performance approaches and strategies
  • Driving NFR/Performance requirements for application and system changes
  • Creating clear and concise test plans, test scripts, results summaries, trend analysis, status reports, and presentations

  • Participating and reviewing the requirements and develop designs for potential performance implications and suggest the design changes if necessary
  • Working closely with application development and architects, to design solutions for performance and scalability validations with shift left and White box testing approaches
  • Ensure timely identification of performance issues and escalating them as warranted
  • Partnering with application domain and other technical teams to help with adoption of performance tools, technical strategies, architecture guidelines through efficient collaboration
  • Remaining abreast of industry trends, plan and lead practice/technology evaluations and POCs

  • Serving as a coach/mentor to less experienced developers/engineers in the Performance engineering team
  • Managing and delegating tasks as appropriate, important to ensure we continue to scale and deliver
  • Bringing innovative ideas to the table, in order to find better ways of accomplishing our customer and business objectives. Setting
