JOB DESCRIPTION: Translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. Developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. To develop, customize and manage data integration pipelines, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems. Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling, mapping, formatting, data analysis. Build Data processing systems that operate with large amounts of data and include multiple structural elements. Designing and developing architectures for efficient and scalable data transformations both for inbound and outbound data systems. Ensure the quality, completeness, security, privacy, and integrity of data throughout the data lifecycle, especially from Data sources through downstream data delivery and reporting. Work closely with other team members such as Product Managers, Analysts, QA, Release Management and other software engineers to develop and release new capabilities as well as research technical requirements and resolve issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with data migration and transformation within the On-premise and Cloud environments and other applications in the Development, Test and Production. Participates and coaches' others in all software development end-to-end product lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of complex company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls. Automate and simplify team development, test, and operations processes and develop detailed architecture plans for large scale enterprise architecture projects and drives the plans to completion. Leverages best practices data transformation and processing techniques, tools and coding languages, data models, query optimizations & analytics. Coordinates, executes, and participates in component integration (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify application errors and to ensure quality software deployment.
Position based in Mooresville, NC, some teleworking may be permitted. Travel to Lowe's offices may be required.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field AND 2 years of experience in software development or a related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field AND 5 years of experience in software development or a related field. Employer will accept single degree or combination of degrees, diplomas, and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Must have prior experience with: 2 years of experience in database technologies including Oracle, IBM DB2, or Microsoft SQL Server; and with No SQL DB technologies including Couchbase & MongoDB. 2 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) including Waterfall and Agile Methodologies. 2 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions. 2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization using data engineering tools including Apache Spark, PL/SQL, Pentaho, Informatica, Cognos, Business Objects. 2 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software including on ore more of the following: HP Service Desk, ServiceNow & Atlassian Jira. 2 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment. 2 years of experience in deployment, Automation and source code management code services using Jenkins, GITHUB, SVN (Apache Subversion).
