This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer:- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment, on-prem and in the cloud
- Track and monitor resource usage and associated costs
- Automate monitoring of application performance and service availability
- Drive technical innovation and efficiency with automation
- Manage and troubleshoot day-to-day systems administration of Windows/Linux infrastructure
- At least 4 years of general DevOps and/or IT system administration experience
- At least 1 year of DevOps experience in an Azure-based SaaS environment
- Experience with Git and BitBucket, GitHub, or similar
- In-depth understanding of modern web architectures and cloud platforms
- Experience supporting common open-source application stacks
- Good communication and logical reasoning skills
- Strong Linux experience
- Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence or equivalent
- Comfortable supporting high volume production systems with strict uptime SLAs
